During February 21-22, 2026 (Friday and Saturday), a two-day Ayurvedic Medical Checkup Camp (ಉಚಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರ) was organized under the aegis of the two trusts: Sri Narahari Seva Pratisthana and Naga Simhadri Charities. The medical camp was supported by
- District, Zilla Panchayath, District Ayush Dept, Chitradurga
- Karnataka State Ayush Doctors Association, Chitradurga Centre.
- Bapuji Ayurvedic College and Multi speciality Hospital, Challakere
The medical camp was inaugurated by Dr. Chandrakanth Nagasandra, District Ayush Director, Chitradurga District and Pujyasri Y. Rajaram Guruji, President of Sri Narahari Seva Pratisthana. The team of Doctors was led by Dr. CT Basavarajappa, Principal, Bapuji Ayurvedic Medical College and Multi-Speciality Hospital, Challakere. As many as 10 Doctors and about 20 post graduate medical interns provided various services.
Free Ayurvedic medicines were supplied by the District Ayush Department, Chitradurga District and Bapuji Ayurvedic Medical College and Multi-Speciality Hospital, Challakere. Essential medicines were also supplied M/S Sridhar Medicals, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. Financial support was provided by Sri Gokula Education Trust, Bengaluru and several other organisations and individuals. Their help is gratefully acknowledged.
More than 200 individuals (with 70% of them being women) were the beneficiaries in the medical camp which provided a variety of services including: Free Bloood Sugar, Blood Pressure and General Health Checkup; General Medicine; Optholomogy; Gynaecology; ENT; and several other specialities. The medical camp was graced by Shri. Govind Karjol, respected M.P. from the Chitradurga constituency and he was extremely pleased with this noble initiative.
