The Divine Significance of the Shrine
At the heart of the temple is the holy Sri Narahareshwara Lingam, installed with great sanctity by Brahmashri Simhadri Sadguru Swami around forty years ago. It is believed that this sacred Shiva Lingam came into his possession during his visit to the holy Gandaki River, making it a spiritually rare and blessed installation.
Along with the Lingam, the temple houses the divine Shiva Panchayatanam, representing the ancient Vedic mode of worship that harmonizes multiple manifestations of the Supreme. At the base stands the ever-devoted Sri Anjaneya Swami, symbolically upholding the sacred installation with strength, humility, and bhakti.
At the entrance to the sanctum are enshrined Sri Ganesha and Sri Kumaraswamy, blessing devotees with removal of obstacles, wisdom, courage, and divine protection before they approach the sanctum sanctorum.
